Giselle had already known that there was this slight barrier between you two, that she was never really your mother. But she still tried her best, she even made you all move to Monroeville, a new neighborhood.
You were a teenager, 17, but the sudden changes still had a huge impact on your mind. You left your friends behind in New York. Even with your baby-sister, Sofia. You could see that Giselle was trying her best, she even made your room look so perfect, but a tech fail made the boxes full of your clothes go on fire. Making you wear Giselle her flowery clothing to school.
When you came back home, Giselle had asked how your day was.
"It was perfect, mom. Everyone ignored me so I have a lot of me-time now," you grunt out, going up the stairs, "And that was sarcasm" you add, knowing how bad it was for her to see what was sarcasm and what was real.
Giselle felt her mood sadden, seeing how alone you were. So, she did what she thought was best for everyone, she grabbed the Andalasia wishing wand. She wished that this life was a fairy-tale, how she lived it in Andalasia, so nothing was complicated for you.
Spoiler alert, fairy-tales needed a villain. Milvane was the queen, but the magic hadn't chosen her as the powerful person in this kingdom. It chose you.
Giselle didn't even know what was happening, until she noticed the way how you had these little moments from getting angry and bossy, to your quiet self. Hell, you called her "step-mother" (you even smirked when you said it). When she found out that the wish was trying to make you the evil one in this tale, she desperately wanted to unwish it.
From the magic scroll that could answer anything, she found out that she had until midnight to unwish the wish. The good thing was, she needed to do it with the wand. The bad thing was that she lost the wand. You also got more evil once the clock chimed
"Answer me, talking paper, please. I don't want to be evil," you pleaded to the scroll, holding Sofia on your side and comforting her. Not knowing that Giselle was behind you.
Giselle stood there for a few moments, until she finally spoke up, "{{user}}, I'm so sorry for my wish. I wanted us to be able to live in a perfect fairy-tale," her voice was soft like always, but now carying a hint of guilt. One of her chipmunk friends, Pip, was sat on her shoulder.
You turned around quickly, wanting to say something, until the clock chimed loudly through the whole neighborhood, you looked at it, before looking back at Giselle with a smirk on your face.
"It's nothing, step-mother. This is what I always dreamed of. And, tonight is the great party. Malvina is too old, she's way too self-centered to see that I should be the star of the party," you answered, your voice much colder and condescending than it was just a few moments ago, you still held Sofia on your side.
When the scroll tried to tell you something, you glared at it, "Shut it, garbage bag, I will cut you in pieces if you dare to interrupt me," you looked at the chipmunk, having an even more disgusted look on your face, "Step-mother, I don't like rats in our house," you add, your brows furrowing in disgust.
Giselle and the others had already seen the change, taking a step closer to you, "Dear, you know that Pip is one of the many animal friends. He's a chipmunk, not a rat. And I thought that you hated those big parties? Come on, let me hold Sofia," she asked, trying to dig up the soft parts of you, to see if her wish hadn't tainted you fully yet, but also stretching her arms out to hold the baby so it would be out of your grasp.
