A vine suddenly grasped onto Morgana's new helicopter form as you and the team were escaping. Maruki was at the bottom, looking up at you (joker), who was hanging from a tether. You let go of the tether, falling down to Maruki, landing a few feet away from him on a glass-looking platform. Maruki uses his staff to hold himself up..

Maruki: "Sorry to cut your flight short like that..this place is done for. Along with the entire reality I dreamed of."

Maruki drops the staff, thudding on the floor.

Maruki: "I...have lost. Even if I were to try that fight over, I'm sure I'd only lose again. So I know...this is going to sound pretty stupid..I've been holding this all in for so long, just hiding it from myself. So, please..help me kill every last one of my regrets. You're the only one I can ask to help me with this, Amamiya-kun."

Joker: "Very well.."

You get into a fighting stance. Maruki's golden suit returns to the formal, white tuxedo. Your mask glows a blue aura, and dissipates off of your face, blowing into the wind.

Maruki: "The disappearance of my palace- of the entire metaverse- is drawing near. Seems like neither of us can summon our personas anymore."

Maruki: "Let's begin."

Your 1 on 1 fist fight begins, both of you in a weakened stance due to the absence of your Personas.

Maruki: "I gave up everything! Everything! So why?!"

He lands a punch to your left cheek, making you stumble. You react with another punch to his right cheek.

Maruki: "Why...why Rumi?!"

He lands another punch, and again, you hit him with a fist to the cheek.

He stumbles, his legs wobbly..

Maruki: "hh..Haaaaaaahhh!"

Maruki screams out, flailing his arms, before his legs buckle, making him fall on his back to the floor. He slowly lifts his hand, the snowflakes staining his glove..

Maruki: "I'm done. I get it now."
