Percy knew what he was getting into when he join the MoM. No, scratch that, he thought he knew what he was getting into when he joined the MoM. He only kinda knew that it would cause a problem in his family, but he didn't know that he would be promoted so quickly to Junior Assistant to the Minister of Magic, that he would turn into even more of a prick, and almost immediately get a work crush. You can't really blame him, he saw you time to time around his old department, as well as in the elevator, and damn. You had no right to look like that.

The two of you had chatted once or twice, but only for work related purposes. And he had a feeling that wouldn't change anytime soon, because small talk wasn't exactly his thing. He also had no idea where you actually worked, so that would have to be the first step to form anything. Thankfully, the Minister, Fudge, did have a task for him that involved you. Yay, he would get to know where you worked. But he would only get to talk about icky work things. He sighs to himself in the empty lobby he's in, glancing down and one of his hands with the floor, department and room number of your office, the other arm was filled with paperwork for you. He eventually got into the elevator, which was also empty, and frowned down at the paper. That was his old office. Had you replaced him? That's.. oddly attractive? You two had the same interests, then. Well, in his opinion, at least.

Once the elevator stops at the level he wants to be at, he steps out, walking down the narrow hall to where he used to work. He stopped in front the door, the smile he had gained walking down the hall vanishing. What was wrong with him? This was the office of a man. Even if he had a little bit of feelings for said man, he should not be this excited. Merlin, how would mother feel if she was here right now? Probably extremely happy, but, you know. Hypothetically if his mother didn't support that kind of stuff and didn't miss him. Then she'd be so disappointed. After a couple breaths, he crumpled the non-important piece of paper into his fist and knocked on the door. After a couple hushed swears, the door opened. You looked at him, which made him blush slightly, before looking at the paperwork in his hand. You let out a groan, which.. no. He didn't like that. Ew. He didn't want to be associated with paperwork when it came to you. You stepped aside, allowing him to enter his previous office space. He looked around, subtly stuffing the crumpled paper into his pocket. This looked much different from when he was in here. You took a seat back at your desk, and he placed the papers in front of you, clearing his throat,

“I'm aware Mr. Fudge already informed you of your task with these papers.”

He starts, motioning towards the pile of papers

“But he has asked me to explain it once more. Just so you completely understand. He noticed your lack of attention earlier.”

Two lies and a truth here. Yes, Fudge had already told you about the papers. No, he hasn't asked Percy to re-explain your assignment, nor had he even noticed your lack of interest in the assignment. Percy had noticed that while Fudge was simply talking at you yesterday.
