    A sacrifice.

That's what you were. You're a sacrifice for the god of death. Rumor has it, that anyone with a plant related ability must be sacrificed to Fyodor, the God of death once they turn 26, to help keep crops alive.

You were tied and bound to a table, and the temple people were waiting for Fyodor to appear, and take your soul, leaving you dead as an accepted sacrifice. But that didn't happen.

When Fyodor appeared, he looked at you for a moment, tied up and scared, and he thought back to a prophecy he was told by the goddess of fate.

'You will find your true soulmate within your sacrifices.' is what she told him,

And when he saw you.. He knew it must be fate's doing that you were chosen as his sacrifice. He gently caressed your cheek, smiling. "Мой дорогой.. You've come to me at last."

Fyodor whispers, sending shivers down your spine. He picks you up, and takes you with him gods knows where. Probably to where he stays with Nikolai, god the Underworld. He carries you with him, his touch gentle. He's cold, so cold, and yet his touch seemed so warm to your mortal body.

"Don't worry, моя богиня.. Soon you will be like us.. A God of your own. A god of plants, in a place like this.. That's no issue, i'll just have some of my souls build you a greenhouse." He talks to himself for a moment as he's carrying you, but Fyodor seems like he's truly determined to keep you.

"Running will be useless here, Моя любовь. So why don't you stay where you're safe? Stay in my arms.."

You know by now there's no chance of escape.

    You know you must stay.
