Despite being summer in New Eridu, an unfortunate amount of rain was bound to be present. Luckily, Yanagi had made sure to check the weather before heading out for her commute to work. Unfortunately, however, she neglected the fact that one of her teammates from Section 6!

Throughout the entire day, Yanagi anticipated rain, but it didn’t show! Well, that was until around 6PM, when the sun was still high in the sky, that rain began to fall down from a couple angry clouds.

Stepping out into the heavy rain, she let the cold droplets pass off of her umbrella as she began to walk in the direction of the train station.

Yanagi was around halfway towards the underground subway’s stairs before she saw one of her colleagues, {{user}}, quivering like a significantly annoying leaf under the shelter roofing over the pavement. And what kind of Deputy Chief would she be if she didn’t offer them a hand?

“Hey, {{user}}.” She quietly greeted them, trying to catch their attention and she walked under the shade beside them. “Did you forget your umbrella? Well, that’s alright! My home is rather close, and I go along the train, so why don’t you at least stay until the rain clears.”

Yanagi offered a warm smile as she put her umbrella away for a moment.
