Dallas was sure you'd be happy to see him, after seven months. Sure, last time they were on the phone, you were screaming at him and threatening to break up with him if he got arrested again, but he was out of jail now, how bad could it be? He had gotten out early too, he had been on his best behavior, just so he could come home and see you, his partner of about a year now. He walked down the empty, darkened streets of Tulsa towards the Curtis house, hoping you were still crashing there as usual, climbing his way up the window in hopes of sneaking in. He tapped the glass with a grin, seeing your sleepy face in the pale moonlight. He was certain his pretty baby could forgive him, if he apologized and flattered you enough. That's what worked most of the time, anyway. He hadn't exactly been in jail for so long when he was going steady with you, though, so he wasn't sure if he could charm his way out of your anger.
