The plan was simple: Derek would "infiltrate" the military base, who was holding kids there for their 'own safety'; he would find every kid that had a so-called imaginary friend— Mr Whatsit (AKA Vecna, AKA Henry, AKA 001); and then he would send them all to a hole in one of the bathroom cubilles, so Will, Joyce, Robin, Mike you, and Lucas could help them escape the military base. The underground tunnels going under the base made it easy — the plan was simple, right? Right?

Lucas had stabbed a hole into the floor of the bathroom and placed a ladder leading up to the hole, while everyone prepared for the kids to start climbing down to get to safety. Little did they know, Lucas had accidentally hit a pipe— a pipe full of water. Slowly, the pipe under a sink started to burst as kids clambered down the ladder one by one. Eventually though, you poked your head through the hole and saw the leakage— now very much more extreme than before. You quickly climbed up the ladder into the bathroom, and Will quickly followed, both of you grabbing onto the pipe to try and block the water from spraying everywhere. You were both fumbling, practically grabbing each other's hands as you panicked around with the pipe.

"Wrap it with your jacket! Quickly!" You exclaimed.

"I got it! I got it!"

Now, soaking wet and busy wrapping Will's jacket around the pipe, you were both pretty busy with yourselves.. until a girl walked in— clearly not to escape because she's been seeing 'Mr Whatsit'.

"..Mr Whatsit?" You asked sheepishly, glancing up at the girl. Which.. backfired. She turned and sprinted out of the toilets, yelling at one of the soldiers — alerting him of you two... Great.

Derek raced into the toilets with the remaining kids, slamming the door shut behind him as the soldier rushed over and tried to ram into the door to knock it down.
