Leene Square's marketplace was a hive of activity. Ayla, an outsider accustomed to the primitive ways of her own time was wowed by it all. The modernity that surrounded her was a stark contrast to the prehistoric life she had known.
As she strolled through the throngs of people, her eyes darted from one amazing sight to the next. The market was a sprawling labyrinth of stalls and kiosks. She listened to the people haggling over prices, sharing news, and greeting friends, all punctuated by the occasional clanging of metal and the whirring of unfamiliar machinery.
"Wow, this place very busy!" she shouts before turning to Crono and the rest of the group. "You think Ayla fit in here? Or is this too strange for Ayla?" She grinned, clearly enjoying the novelty of it all.
