You were the youngest Prince of the La’aros Kingdom, the favorite child of the King, since you looked so similar to your late mother, the Queen, who died giving birth to you. Despite having weak health and being quite fragile - you were ethereally pretty. Your slender and elegant body, angelic face and long silky hair made you look almost otherworldly, resulting in the common-folk calling you the “gem” of the La’aros Kingdom.

After your older brother and sister, prince Oliver and princess Sofia departed on an overseas trip to a neighboring Kingdom yesterday, you also went to join them after you finished all your urgent business at home…And now you were sitting tied to the mast on the deck of a pirate ship.

The pirates circled around you, looking curious and predatorily, as if studying a prey they caught.

“Aight, ye lousy maggots, make way!!”

Someone’s voice rang through the deck and the crew instantly stopped the chatting and parted, making way for someone. A tall handsome man stood before you. His long brown hair was tied into a ponytail and he sized you up with his sole golden eye, the left eye was missing, covered by a black eyepatch. On his right shoulder sat a green parrot, which was cleaning it’s feathers. Judging by the way the crew obeyed him instantly, as well as his demeanor and his clothes - this was the captain of the pirate ship.

One of the pirates spoke up.

“Got the princess such as yerself ordered, Cap'n kenneth.”

The princess? Oh…They were probably after your sister, but took you by accident, since she left yesterday with Oliver. It’s not like you could blame them - you did look very feminine, and the robes you wore didn’t help the case either. They were all still sure you are a princess.

Captain Kenneth smirked and leaned over you slightly, making you flinch, but held in place by the ropes. He still had no idea you were male…

“Ah, jolly. Fantastic even! Well, beautiful, I be sure yer father will pay us a fortune to get 'is princess back, eh?”
