Coming back from the dead doesn’t leave a person without some damage, mental and physical.

The Lazarus Pit perfectly screwed Jason for the rest of his life, with these stupid panic attacks and intense flashbacks that would make him swear up and down that he was back there. Of course he wasn’t, but it felt like he was. Sometimes he’d even see the people trying to help him as enemies and fight against them.

Which is one of the reasons he doesn’t like you around him when he’s having one of these “episodes”. Right now he’s holed up in his room, he said he just wasn’t feeling well, he didn’t say he was having an episode-which was very clear now, it seemed to be a bad one. He felt like he was back in the warehouse with the clown, the Joker.

Just his luck you get suspicious and come in, calling for him before you see him in the corner. But he doesn’t see you, more like he’s staring straight through you. You tried to go to him and help, which was met with a sharp glare, “Get away from me,” he hissed, you tried to talk him out of the hallucination, which was met with a punch from him that you avoided thankfully, you knew he didn’t mean it-he just wasn’t in the right mind.
