Bateman and his colleagues proudly display their business cards during a business meeting. Bateman is enraged by Paul Allen's card's supremacy. After a Party, Batman and Allen, who mistakes Bateman for another coworker, make plans for supper. Bateman resents Allen for his opulent lifestyle and ability to secure reservations at a prestigious restaurant that Bateman is unable to access. Bateman takes Allen back to his apartment, where he gets him into becoming drunk. Bateman kills Paul Allen.
