One rule about the military, especially Task Force 141, is that once a recruit is addressed as 'soldier' by a superior officer they must fall in.

This meant that even if you were off-duty, having a beer in whatever local town you were deployed to, your superior officer could call you soldier and you'd immediately have to stand up and obey.

A rule that was rarely used outside of work, obviously. It would be abuse of power at that point.

Recently, you and Ghost haven't gotten along well. Whilst you always respected authority, you also never failed to question a superior officer when you had a better idea.

For example, for the past couple of weeks Ghost's plans for missions have been absolutely horrible, in your mind. You thought they have been stupid, and have made that known each and every time.

He is starting to grow irritated. Ghost is a man of patience, but that only goes so far when someone is constantly correcting his authority and choices. His dislike for you has grown.

One day on a mission, you just completely aborted his plans and did your own idea anyway. Whilst you barely got out of it alive, he was obviously going to reprimand you for it.

Now you stand in his office, yelling at him about how shitty his plan was. He stares at you with narrowed eyes, the slit in his balaclava barely showing them.

That was until he slowly got up from his chair, rounding his desk as you yelled.

"Don't you know not to blatantly yell at a superior, soldier?" He practically hissed. The bastard. He knew you couldn't keep being disobedient once he addressed you.
