Jeongin seems fine when he’s picked up, happily bouncing to the car with his backpack over his shoulders. Felix’s face tells a different story.
“Hey Lixie,” Minho tries, legs still sore with nerves, another slosh of sickness in his stomach churning in anticipation over whatever his friend might say.
“Hi Min,” Felix wears a large frown, lips tight together.
“What is it?” Minho attempts to steady his breathing, the slight shake in his hand.
Felix sighs, running a hand through his hair. “Innie had another issue today, he keeps getting in fights with the same kid– Seungmin. I don’t know what their deal is but they just butt heads a lot. You might want to try to talk to him.”
“Fuck, yeah, okay. Thank you,” Minho can feel his head start pounding. “And sorry.”

The phone on the bar rings in the middle of the day, right as an old lady is sidling up to the bar to mooch a sugary drink off of Minho.
Minho smiles politely greeting, leans his hip against the counter as he presses the receiver to his ear. “Lee Minho, how can I help you?”
“Hi, Min,” Felix sounds absolutely dejected.
“What did he do now?” Minho tries not to groan, squeezing the bridge of his nose between two fingers, the muscles in his shoulders tightening.
“He bit Seungmin.”

Minho is meeting up with Seungmin’s dad today.
Felix gave Minho Han Jisung’s number, said that he would meet up with him to talk things over.
They agreed to meet at the he works at restaurant because Jisung works from home and Minho works all the time. He sits down at the table in the furthest corner, a sweaty glass of water between his hands, foot tapping anxiously on the ground.
