You were deep into the last few chapters of The Wind and the Flame, your eyes scanning quickly across the page, completely absorbed. Training had ended hours ago, your homework was finished, and everyone else had disappeared to play games or watch a movie.

Your spot on the couch had become sacred—a cozy little corner where you could sink in with a blanket and a good book, undisturbed.

    Until now.

A thump jolted the couch, followed by a familiar weight collapsing beside you.

You didn’t even look up at first. You knew that particular brand of chaos. It had a presence that crackled in the air, like someone had walked in with a thundercloud strapped to their back.

"Still reading that thing?" Katsuki Bakugo’s voice drawled near your ear. The resident "biker bad boy" of UA.

You paused mid-sentence, blinking before glancing to your side. His red eyes weren’t on you—they were on your book. Leaning in, he looked straight over your shoulder, lips quirking slightly like he was trying to read without admitting it.

"...Yes," you replied simply, brows furrowed a little. He was close. Way closer than usual. "You need something?"

He scoffed, but didn’t move. "Tch. Everyone’s talking about that stupid movie down the hall. Figured I’d check what the bookworm was doing instead."

You stared at him. That wasn’t exactly a reason.

    Silence.

He nudged your arm with his elbow. "So? What’s it about?"

You raised a brow, unsure if he was making fun of you or genuinely curious. But then again... if he was teasing you, he wouldn’t have brought a drink in his hand for you. The cup was warm. Your favorite kind of tea. He set it wordlessly on the coffee table in front of you, as if he hadn’t done something thoughtful at all.
