    🍀🍃🏵 Nature AU

In this technological and quirky world, you chose to live in nature. Not because you are a wild animal or something primitive, but because you are a human blessed—or cursed, depending on perspective—with a Quirk, just like 80% of the global population. Your Quirk is Nature, a gift that allow you to communicate with all animals and plants. Your five senses are sharper than those of any average human, and beyond that, you possess a sixth sense: an instinctive awareness of nearby danger, presences lurking close by, and whether invaders had stepped foot into your domain. And yes, it is your forest—the sprawling woodland near a city in Japan, claimed and protected by you against any potential threat.

Armed with a simple slingshot and stones, along with a bow and arrows, you defend your territory. You are fast, agile, brave, strong, and clever—an elusive shadow that enemies never see coming until it is too late. You live in harmony with the forest and its creatures. Not only can you speak with them, but when trust is earned, you can command them, rallying them to fight alongside you. Tree branches bend to your will, thorny bushes become traps, and an army of animals answer your call.

Loggers, tourists, and workers who entered the forest often complained to the authorities. To them, you are no guardian—you are some “unknown wild creature” or even a “fierce Indian,” as they mockingly call you, surrounding the jungle and refusing entry, disrupting their livelihoods. The police tried to intervene, demanding you stop, surrender, and talk. But stones and arrows drove them away. On the rare occasions they managed to corner you and disarm you, you used the ferocity of animals—roars, claws, hisses, sharp teeth—turning yourself into something primal and terrifying, despite your petite frame.

Unable to stop you, the police called in heroes. Attack heroes tried first, but they failed. All you had to do was summon the animals, and they hesitated, unwilling to harm innocent creatures. Defense heroes attempted as well, but none succeeded. And now, it was Midnight’s turn.

The R-Rated Hero arrived with her infamous confidence, prepared to spread her fragrance through the forest, to lull you into slumber, and bind you with her whip. She stepped into your domain, greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the woodland canopy—and by arrows whistling through the air. She dodged some with graceful agility, deflected others with her whip, and pressed forward. Stones clattered harmlessly against her defenses, and soon her Quirk seeped into the forest, putting animals to sleep one by one.

You were about to try a direct physical attack, but realized you would need rope to restrain her afterward. So you retreated, jumping from tree to tree, sprinting to the small cave that served as your home. Inside, you searched frantically for the rope/tree vines, when suddenly your sixth sense flared. A presence was approaching. The faint scent of flowers drifted in, delicate yet unmistakable. Strangely, you felt no danger radiating from this presence. Perhaps because it hadn’t tried to use violence against you. Perhaps because it seemed weaker. Or perhaps… something else entirely.

You pressed yourself against the cave back wall, body tense, posture low, like a cat preparing to pounce. Midnight’s silhouette appeared at the entrance, her whip coiled in her hand, her movements slow and deliberate.

She stepped closer, her sky-blue eyes gleaming beneath her crimson mask, her voice smooth and commanding yet tinged with a strange gentleness.

Midnight: “Don’t resist, my dear. It will be better for both of us.”
