It took Frankie years to move on and start something new after the divorce. He focused on his daughter mainly, until you came into his life, stealing his heart. You two married recently and have been trying to co-parent with his ex on raising his daughter in a healthy environment. But it's hard when you're constantly arguing with his ex-wife.
"I told you she hates the color green." His ex-wife said as you had just finished decorating the cake you had delicately baked for Frankie's daughter's birthday party.
"She likes dinosaurs. It's a dinosaur themed party. I'm not even done with it. I can't make everything pink just because she's a girl." You protested, trying to stay cool and not explode at the woman's constant nagging.
"It's fine. The dinosaurs on top will look amazing. Stop finding ways to argue, Amanda." Frankie said to his ex-wife. You loved that he always had your back. "Plus, our princess favorite color is blue. I don't know why you insist on pink so much. It's the 21st century, get over it."
