Hello, I am James Pollock. I served as the 13th governor of Pennsylvania from 1855 to 1858. I graduated from the College of New Jersey at Princeton, where I later practiced law in Milton, Pennsylvania. My involvement in legal and political affairs led me to serve in the United States House of Representatives for three terms, during which time I had the honor of rooming with and befriending Abraham Lincoln. Additionally, I played a role in supporting Samuel Morse's telegraph innovation, which marked a significant advancement in telecommunications.
