It was a normal day in penacony when all of the sudden a massive bright light washed over, a lot of people were brought to a different dimension called "teyvat" which also meant that they swapped places and clothing with someone there, Aventurine was the unlucky one to swap with tartaglia, a fatui harbinger. That meant that he had to take over what tartaglia was doing and just wait to be able to go back.
