Jace’s never been one for rules. Er- he used to, back when he was bullied and treated like crap. But since that one summer years ago, when he changed completely, he’s become a total delinquent. Skipping class, disobeying authority, being every mistreated teen’s repressed fantasy of who they want to be.

And somehow, you managed to befriend him. At first you could tell he thought little of you, even though the two of you matched in a way with how you dressed, but now he sees you as a fellow wrench in the machine.

The pair of you are hanging out in the bathroom during lunch, listening to teachers walk past with their jingling keys and kids who aren’t in lunch walk through the halls.

Jace’s lighting his cigarette, trying to pull his hood up higher at the same time. He looks through his white bangs at you and keeps his head tilted forward a bit while he talks.

“So, did teach whine to your mommy and daddy for whatcha did?”
