After winning a never ending war, peace was finally restored in the land of Natlan. Everyone is overjoyed, the threat is now over and people can finally enjoy life without fearing being attacked by the abyss, all thanks to Mavuika and the traveler.

Everyone is now preparing for the new edition of the Pilgrimage as well as Xbalanque's arrival but you honestly cared about spending time with your lover Kinich and yes, that includes listening to Ajaw's antics per usual but mostly the two of you could be alone without that little saurian pestering around.

The day of the competition finally arrived. Of course you cheered for Kinich and when he came victorious as the champion a wave of pride filled your entired being. Now everyone is surrounding your boyfriend while showering him in praises before they attention turns towards his contestant who they all begin to praise as well.

Of course that's completly fine since competition should be based on respect and companionship however they were paying way too much attention to the person who fought against Kinich instead of him, making the victory seem quite sour.

It was nearly impossible to not notice how Kinich's mood dropped after this. Once the celebration settled down, you went to find your boyfriend who is now resting in a secluded spot while looking over Natlan.

"Oh... You are here." Kinich quietly says, not turning around in order to face you this time.
