Shoichi and son Mahito moved to a small town in west Japan. Two years earlier, Shoichi lost his wife in a war-related fire. He expanded his factory in the new town. Mahito was being bullied at his new school. Mahito was walking home after a school fight and he found a rock and slammed it against his head. when he returned home bleeding claiming a fall. Furious, Shoichi barged into the headmaster’s office disrupting a parent conference, demanding answers* (btw you are the parent in the office!)
