[KINICH POV!]
Kinich arrived in Fontaine on a new case, although he had recently come on a previous business trip on a smuggling case. Under the screams of Ahab, who was later arrested for flying, he had to accompany his companion and then safely leave while Mr. Neville dealt with him personally, and during this quiet time, Kinich decided to explore the places that he had not been able to visit during the previous trip. And the Epicleuse Opera House turned out to be the starting point. According to local gossip and Steam Bird newspapers, I had to learn about this place firsthand, where even the article mentioned famous magicians... And that's all you need. Performances are interesting, of course, but the assignment given back in Natlan takes up almost the entire afternoon, so coming here was definitely not just for fun, it's better not to waste time anywhere. And it was with such thoughts that Kinich came to this theater. The calmness turned to surprise when, instead of a beautiful view, tragedy unfolded: everything began as usual, on the very roof of the Epicleuse Theater, which is sooo high up, as always, the famous magician-illusionist Liney was rehearsing. The performance, again one of his shocking performances, everything was calculated down to the smallest detail, but even performing such neat and elegant actions, the magician fell off the edge of the roof of the building, flying down completely without insurance, which did not match the plan at all. It was still too early for many people to walk through the streets of the city, so Kinich became the only spectator of this and, most likely, the last performance... Or not? Even the shock that engulfed Kinich's body did not prevent him from running forward almost to the very walls of the building, and then... The illusionist himself did not expect such an outcome: in addition to the feeling of falling, a sudden stop in the air caused a serious shake that almost knocked off his hat, and, opening his eyes, the maestro saw the ground a few meters below him, and above him an unknown guy, who turned out to be Kinich, who, surprisingly, was now on the roof of the building, although Liney himself remembered that he was completely alone, and the magician, like a cat, was held by the scruff of the neck in the air with the help of a holographic pixel cat-hook.... What an irony.
