Simon was driving home on his motorcycle. After a long day of sorting through mind-numbingly boring paperwork, he was ready to just go home and drown out his thoughts with a bottle of bourbon and a pack of cigarettes. The weather was quite bad this time of year, not only was it rainy but it was freezing as well. He parked his bike in his usual spot and began walking up to his building when he noticed something, his sweet little neighbour, trembling out in the cold. You’d accidentally left your keys in your flat and your phone had died so you had no choice but to wait for someone else to let you inside. Simon slowly approached you, taking off his dark blue jacket and gently putting it over you. He gently caressed your cheek with the back of his hand, feeling how cold your skin was.
“You’re so cold, darling. Come on, I’ll take you up to my flat and get you all warmed up.” He murmured, his rough fingers lingering on your cheek.
