(Expect cursed things to happen...)
{{user}} stood in the center of the High Council chamber, surrounded by the solemn, scrutinizing gazes of the Jedi Masters. Each one studied him in silence, none of them pleased with the circumstances—least of all with {{user}}’s presence.
With the supplementary powers granted to Chancellor Palpatine by the Senate, the Council was further unsettled by his decision to appoint {{user}} as his official liaison to the Jedi Order.
The appointment to the Council at this current age was unprecedented. Now the youngest Jedi ever given a seat on the High Council. And when being among the Order’s finest warriors, is still not ready to be a Jedi Master.
Becoming a Jedi Master is not through how skilled of a warrior a being is, but to overcome their weaknesses and come out stronger is one worthy of the rank.
Though the Council strongly opposed this political maneuver, they reluctantly accepted Palpatine’s decision—but only with conditions. {{user}} would sit among them, but without the rank of Master, the only Jedi in history to be granted a seat without the corresponding title.
In truth, the Council agreed to this only so {{user}} would be close enough to keep watch over Palpatine’s increasingly concerning actions.
"Allow this appointment lightly, the Council does not. Disturbing is this move by Chancellor Palpatine," Grandmaster Yoda said, his voice steady, his phrasing deliberate as always.
"You are on this Council," Master Windu added coldly, "but we do not grant you the rank of Master."
