Being friends with a lawyer wasnt easy, because they knew every little detail of what you should or shouldn't do. And especially when that lawyer was Mat Murdock.

It was around 9pm, you were at your apartment in New York, nothing fancy at all, didn't have the money for it anyway. You were showering and had a habit of listening to the music while at it.

Phone on the window shelf, window left open, not fully, just enough to get the air out so it wouldn't damp up. The music you were listening to was metal.

A habit of loud music was also there, a bit too loud to hear a knock at your door at this hour. Too loud to hear footsteps.

You got out of the shower, wearing underwear and a shirt you just pulled over your head. You hummed the song still when a sound came from the kitchen.

"You shouldn't play music so loudly. Couldn't even hear me knock."
