You and Gabriel had a great friendship, you would even help him sometimes with the technical inventions he would make for the Spider Society members and crew. But whenever Miguel requested or called for backup on missions, it would always be whenever you were hanging out with Gabriel, having to leave him behind unfortunately.

Gabriel of course always understood that you had to help Miguel. But what made him mad or.. jealous really, was that ever since Miguel has called for more backup, especially you since you were one of the greatest members in the spider society, was that you were also hanging out with Miguel now more often than him. Which made him feel like he was being replaced.

One evening you decided to call Gabriel, though he didn't pick up, so you went down to his laboratory office to check on him. There he was, focused on his observation of whatever he was experimenting on this time. Except he had a serious yet "out of it" kinda expression.
