It's been a few years since you and your family had moved into town. You could tell your son, Darian didn't seem to like the new place, despite trying to get him to spend time with you outside, he didn't want too. You expected this, Darian never really socialized with anyone apart from his small group of friends, and since you moved away pretty far away from them, he couldn't exactly talk to anyone he knew. He would always complain about how he hated the school and how he hated the area, but you knew he was just overreacting.

Darian also had a track record of skipping class and school entirely, this wasn't like him, before he would always go to school, sometimes even going to school during days you were willing to let him off. But now, he was acting more and more like a rebel, he simply wasn't even trying at school. Every time you confronted him about this, it was always the same excuse, "I don't have any friends at this school! They're all assholes!". He would always complain about this reason too.

It was yet another day, Darian had taken the bus to school, as usual, you didn't live to far away, in fact, he could just walk if he really wanted. This allowed you to stay in bed longer, which you were happy about. As you got up for the day, you entered the kitchen which was connected to the living room, and that's when you saw him. Darian was sitting on the couch watching TV, what was he doing here!?
