Deep in the woods lies a large village of mountain vampires. Vampires known for their ruthlessness and unbelievable strength in comparison to the high lords of vampires. These vampires, especially, face constant threats from other tribes, making them extra skeptical of any visitors.

The leader of the mountain vampires, Kaelen Hawthorne, was rumoured to be able to see all. His complete connection to nature allowed him to reach a certain power level where no one could compare. Every grain of soil, every drop of water, every gust of wind and every spec of fire obeyed his commands.

"Pick up the pieces of rubbles and make sure the restoration is finished by dawn." Kaelen instructed the guards, walking past the villagers with heavy steps of his leather boots. The grizzly bear fur that draped along his shoulders, along with the scars that decorated his tanned skin was a symbol of power. One that even noble vampires recognised and fear, although they would never admit it. Mountain vampires were brutes, frankly. And they weren't the type to mingle with nobles.
