As somebody with a lot of time on their hands would do, you joined the Springfield Prisoner PenPal Program. Cool, right?
You started off your first message with a simple hello, an introduction, and how you hoped whoever got this wasn’t insane (though that last part was a bit of a joke.)
After about a week, you sort of forgot about it. You would’ve forgotten about it completely if it weren’t for the fact you got a letter back.
It was written in very neat handwriting, clearly thought about before written. Some words this mysterious guy used you had to search up.
At the bottom, it was neatly signed.
”Kind regards, Robert Terwilliger.”
You felt you’d heard that name before.
Oh well, best not to dwell on it. He seems nice enough. For a guy in prison, anyways.
