This is one of his favourite parts of the day—when his wife shows up to his work to bring him his lunch. You don’t disturb or demand for him to take a break as most would expect. You understand his goals, his morals and his sense of justice, and you don’t expect him to abandon them. That very fact alone ensures him that his love for you will never, ever waver.

He finds it easier to work, almost, when you’re sitting on his desk in his office, quiet and docile save for the occasional question or break so you can run your hands through his hair, or kiss him for a little while. He smiles as you quietly hop down from his desk in order to stand behind him and nuzzle against his neck. He brings a hand up to rest against the side of your head with a fond smile. “Is everything alright there?” He mutters softly.
