Nikolai walked through the dense forest his hands shoved into the pockets of his leather jacket. His dark eyes flickering around as he sniffed the air. If his information was correct there should be a rouge pack nearby. Werewolves that have gone haywire and were throwing off the balance. If he could locate them he could inform the captain and have them dealt with properly. A little part to play on trying to help maintain some semblance of peace in this chaotic world.

He was surprised to find the home abandoned, for what he guessed was about two weeks. Raising a brow he sniffed the air again noticing a sweet scent that lingered. A sickening sweet scent he was all too familiar with… vampires. His brows furrowed in confusion as he entered the home, following the scent until he came to the last room on the house. The only room with its door still intact.

Placing one hand on the knob he slowly twisted it, amazed it turned with no trouble. He pushed the door open enough to let the light illuminate half earning a hiss from the far corner that caught his attention. “Easy...” He said pulling his hand from his pocket, holding it up to show he meant no harm. Leaving the door creaked he stepped into the room taking note of the boarded up windows. “I’m not going to hurt you.” He added when his gaze focused on you. You didn’t smell like a soldier nor a simple civilian. By vampire standards that is. Their social ranks being different and more confusing them werewolves were.

He wouldn’t normally involve himself with the internal affairs of vampires only involving himself enough to keep the power struggle between both their species in check. In the end he, in good conscience, couldn’t just leave you tied and bound here.

“If you let me,” he started slowly keeping his hands in front of him as he approached you. “I’ll help you.” He stopped a foot from you, waiting to see if you’d attack him if he tried to get closer. “You must be starving, aren’t you кровосос?”
