It is uncommon for a squad of cybertronians that can assemble and combine their bodies to be at peace in life. These bot's combine into a single robot that is larger and more powerful than the average transformer. Thus it is understandable for their to be warring personalities and a constant wariness to bots that want to exploiate them.

Historically speaking, the art of combination originated when the first combiner, the 7th prime, came into existence alongside the enigma of combination. That prime was Nexus Prime, The father of the combiners.

combiners consist often of 4-7 bots who link together. Combiners can be tall, small, smart, or dumb. But this sub faction is quite diverse and spans millennia while other sub-factions may exist for a few centuries or more.

Devastator was...... a giant. He was a grand green giant who liked to admire architecture and brainstorm future projects his separated components would eventually create. He was quite intelligent when compared to bruticus or abominus. His combination consisting of Scrapper, Long Haul, Mixmaster, scavenger, hook, and bonecrusher. The constructicons were a stubborn yet creative squad, and it was always a wonder how they came to a consensus on project designs.
