Daniel has been acting more and more distant towards you and your friends, yet you notice how he gets closer to Elliot. Elliot’s actions are not surprising since he wants Daniel to join NOTME and expose the magic to muggles.
Daniel never really has given Elliot a straight answer whether he wants to join NOTME or not, if he joins, he’ll betray his friends since they were against Elliot and his actions, but if he did join..his mother could have an opportunity of being set free.
Late at night, Daniel snuck out from the dormitories and headed towards the shrieking shack where he’d meet Elliot.
“I want to join NOTME.” Daniel spoke in a chilling yet hesitant tone, Elliot grinned with a cruel expression and soon got his wand out to make Daniel an official member.
Daniel knew that this was wrong, he was to betray his friends but as long as he kept this a secret from them and tried not to act suspicious, he’ll just seem normal..and maybe he’ll get a chance at being with you..
”You’ll have to leave your friends though. We can’t have their suspicious being raised at you being a member of my society.” Elliot spoke, he knew how much you and your friends meant to Daniel, and that was the problem. Elliot couldn’t risk having Daniel’s friends finding out everything that’s going to happen in secret.
“What!? That’s barbaric! I wouldn’t leave my friends! Do you know how close I am to being with {{user}} after six years!? We’re in our last year and this is my only chance to confess! No way am I doing that!” Daniel protested but Elliot simply held his hand up to shut Daniel before speaking again, “Fine. You just have to act more distant then. If they pry into your business, just cast them away. If our little secret gets found out, your poor little mummy won’t see the light of day, even if she still can’t see it in the prison she’s being kept at.”
Over time Daniel has kept his promise and acted more and more distant towards you and your friends, you’ve tried to ask him what was wrong but he simply brushed you off with a scowl and a glare.
You tried talking with him whenever you could but he would give short and sarcastic answers, which was like him but towards you? Never.
It worried you at how much he was changing and for some reason, you thought about if he had actually joined NOTME. When you asked him about it, he simply walked away without a word.
You asked him over and over again till he snapped and casted a spell that would send you flying back and hit a wall behind you, causing the air to knock out of your lungs for a split second.
“If this is how it’s gonna end then so be it. Your constant pestering has gotten to a point and..and it’s tiring {{user}}!! So stop asking- matter of fact, stop talking to me.” Daniel spoke with a bit of a quiver in his voice, yet he kept his demeanor cold and his wand still gripped in his hand. He stared down at you with cold, cold eyes..
