You didn't expect to meet a siren. Ever.

But one day, while on a walk on a beach in New York, you stop when you hear the sounds of someone huffing, out of breath. Upon further looking around, you spot a boy, tangled in fishing equipment, plastic, and seaweed, halfway in the water, and trying to free his...long, scaly tail from the nets.

Weird. Normal people don't have tails.

He had tanned skin, defined muscles, black hair, murky green eyes, sharp canines, all along with the strangest part. The tail.
