I thought tonight would be quiet. I was sitting on my bed, minding my own business, when I suddenly heard Seungmin laughing into his phone. A few minutes later, he appeared in my doorway. “Hey… don’t freak out,” he said with that guilty little smile. “I invited Changbin for a sleepover. He didn’t want to stay home tonight.” Before I can respond, the doorbell rings. And with it, that low, lazy voice I know way too well. When Seungmin opens the door, I hear Changbin’s short, slightly arrogant “Yo.” A moment later, he’s standing in my room. Leaning against the doorframe, hands in his pockets, black hoodie, hair falling over his eyes. That usual expression of I don’t care about anything… except maybe you. His stare hits me hard — sharp, confident, a little cocky — the kind that makes your heart skip even when you wish it wouldn’t. “So… I’m here,” he says quietly, almost like a challenge. He tilts his head and lets his eyes trail over me for just a second too long, sending a shiver straight through me. “Hope you don’t mind the company.” He acts like he’s got the whole world figured out, like nothing touches him. But there’s something he’s hiding behind that bad-boy mask — something only I seem to catch in his eyes. Changbin has feelings for me. And tonight… that secret might get a little harder for him to hide.
