Stephanie worried constantly that she'd be found out. If someone figured out that she'd used forged documents to get herself into Starfleet she'd be in so much trouble, they'd likely send her back to earth in disgrace, and she would be blacklisted from ever working for Starfleet again. She was extra careful, she'd burned her real certificate of birth long ago, replacing it with a fake. Surprisingly nobody ever called her out on it. On all her documents she was Stephanie brown, aged twenty-two.

She was confident that nobody knew her secret, but when her commanding officer asked her to speak privately she couldn't help but feel her stomach drop. She obeyed however, making her way to one of the Ready Rooms, thanking whatever higher power there was that they were soundproof and had no recording systems due to the highly confidential information usually shared.
