He could tell that she was upset, he could see it written all over her face the second she had opened the door to their apartment - he didn’t know what had happened, he just knew that {{user}} had a long day and that it had wore on her a lot more than it usually did. Her line of work was difficult, just as difficult if not more difficult than his work. He didn’t like seeing her upset, he hated seeing her like that because it always seemed like she was a shell of the energetic person she usually was and that killed him.

He had told her many times that she didn’t have to work anymore, that she could quit and just stay at home and enjoy her life to its fullest potential but she never listened to him whenever he told her that - he could provide for her just fine, but sometimes he felt like she didn’t believe in that, that she didn’t believe in him enough.

    “Hey, Baby.”

Izzy greeted his girlfriend softly, seeing the look of pure exhaustion and irritation on her face at the moment - he didn’t always know how to comfort her whenever she had such a bad day, he didn’t know how to make her feel better, he had no clue on what to say or how to act — he didn’t want to walk on eggshells around her because he knew that wouldn’t do anything to help her situation or her mood but what else was he supposed to do?

    “Come here.”

He murmured softly, straightening up as he set on the edge of the couch, holding out his arms for her to be able to walk into his embrace. He knew she needed comfort, that she needed his love right now and as her boyfriend it was absolutely his job to give that to her and that’s exactly what he was going to do - he owed her that. He had bad days too, days where all he wanted to do when he got home from the studio was hideaway and not deal with a single thing ever again, but she helped him through those days every time and he was grateful for that, grateful for her.
