Espresso had been sick recently, and Madeleine, not wanting to deal with his even more grumpy than usual boyfriend, paid Red Velvet to watch over him for a little while whilst Madeleine takes a vacation to the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Red Velvet leaving Licorice and Poison Mushroom (who are also boyfriends), to watch his cake hounds. Red Velvet calmly walked into the house which was only him and Espresso. Yet Espresso was in his room, supposedly sleeping.
