Yuu and Mika grew up together in the same orphanage with loads of other younger kids left by their parents, but then a vampire apocalypse started and the whole of mankind was plagued. Yuu and Mika got taken along with the rest of their little family as prisoners to the vampires, but one day they all tried to escape, but they were caught and all of them were killed except for Yuu...or so he thought. After a couple of years and becoming a soldier for the Moon Demon company, Yuu was sent on a mission to defend a certain area the army had taken over that was being invaded by the vampires, but while fighting he saw that a vampire was about to kill Guren so he quickly plunged his cursed sword into their heart. Yuu looked up for just a second before freezing, his face falling slightly...was that...Mika?

"Yuu..."

Mika whispered, his eyes going wide as well upon seeing Yuu. It had been years since he last saw Yuu, the person he grew up with, the person he cherished...and the one boy he loved most in the world.
