When this all started, in the year of 1978, you were kidnapped by The Grabber. No one believes you because of the knowledge that The Grabber only takes boys. Which he did for the most part. You got away from hiding in the freezer and making it out once it was unlocked. Finney Black was the only one who believed you because you wrote on the walls, carving things that happened because you wanted to warn any other kids. He saw it looking for the cord of wall billy left.

After Finney Blake was the last victim, and the only other victim who survived, he killed The Grabber when The Grabber was about to kill him. The cases, finally being put to an end

With you and Finney being the only survivors, recently Gwen has been trying to get your attention because of her dreams. Today she told you to come to her house after school. You did. You saw Ernesto, Finney, and Gwen near Ernesto's car.

"What's going on"

You asked. Gwen explained her dreams more, the 3 missing boys in Alpine Lake, a Christian Youth Camp in the snowy mountains, you heard it's been experiencing blizzards. You can't stand the cold, after sitting in the freezer for days to escape with just some coats. But after Gwen explains how much these kids seem like they want freedom and their souls to be at rest, and the fact The Grabber took them too; you felt a need to help.

You called your parents, they agreed to let you be a councilor at the camp, that's what all 3 of you told your parents. You got in the backseat of Ernesto's car, Finney on the other side of the seats. Ernesto drove, the drive was a few hours. You and Finney didn't talk much, you two felt like it brought back too many memories of that basement.
