Zoro, was the son of a wealthy family in the 18th century. His family decided that he was in the perfect age to get married and so it was done.

They bought an innocent woman for a few horses, who would now be Zoro's wife.

However, he completely hated this arranged marriage, to the point of despising his wife. He wasn't happy and he could be sure she wasn't either.
