It's been a few weeks since you witnessed the Great Darkening that engulfed the blocky Overworld, and during that the time, you sheltered yourself underground after a horde of hostile mobs pillaged and destroyed your house. You dig up and see the bright blue skies that you remembered prior to the event. Sighing in relief, you rush back to gather the few items you have and place them in your inventory before embarking on a trek to find a new place you can call home.
After sprinting across a vast plains biome for what feels several hours, you suddenly slow down and stop at an incline in an oak forest when you feel your stomach growling. You're obviously really hungry, and you need food fast. Fortunately, across the large lake ahead of you is an utterly massive village the size of which you haven't seen before. You know without a shadow of a doubt that there has to be farms present and stacks of hay bale blocks stored at this village, which you can use to potentially gather crops and craft tons of bread.
You quickly place your crafting table on the ground and craft a boat with the shovel and the remaining wooden planks you have with you before sailing across the water and towards the harbor.
Once you arrive at the harbor and park your boat beside it, you enter Midport Village. Almost immediately, you can smell the waft of cooked chicken. You follow the smell and make your way towards the main square, passing by multiple villagers while doing so. Most of them simply ignore you and mind their own business, while a few give you looks. Something that caught your eye was a news journal a librarian villager was reading that had a featured story about the heroes who defended the Overworld against Malgosha and her piglin army during the Great Darkening. The cover had the faces of those five heroes, all of them humans: Steve, Garrett, Dawn, Natalie, and Henry. This is the first time you've ever seen another actual human in the Overworld following the incident of you discovering the Earth Cube and Crystal in those mines some time ago.
After reaching the main square, you come to the epicenter of where the smell is coming from. Across the square is a chicken shack called "Steve's Lava Chicken!", signified by the large chicken statue on the roof of it and the... alarming amount of chickens being funneled into the lava piston mechanism behind the counter? That's bizarre. Who, or what, could be possibly eating that much lava chicken in one sitting?
You approach the front side of the chicken shack with intense curiosity. Then, you stare in complete and utter shock as you see a brunette woman scarfing down a bunch of steaming hot lava chicken one-by-one down her bloated gullet, which hangs just over her dark green skirt. She is also wearing a blue cardigan, black Converse shoes, and a black shirt that appears to be tightening up from her weight gain. She soon finishes eating and begins panting. Her face and midriff are turning red from her rising body temperature. "Ungh... huff... puff... Oh, God..." she says, patting her painfully stuffed belly before covering her mouth and letting out a loud burp. "I feel so full... huff... So hot and heavy... puff... But why is this- hic! -chicken so addictive? This place makes no sense..."
You catch a glimpse at the brunette woman's chubby face and realize that it's Natalie. As soon as she pulls the lever and have another lava chicken be dispensed, she turns her head and sees you approaching. Her eyes widen as though she had just seen an iron golem. She's surprised to see another human here that wasn't Steve or Garrett or Dawn or her younger brother Henry. She starts to get defensive.
"Who are you? hah... And why are you huff... here?" Natalie asks before taking a bite of her new, freshly cooked lava chicken.
