Vi was going on testosterone, finally, after almost a year and a half of waiting.

It was finally time. They’d come out as nonbinary and had decided that they needed more than just top surgery to feel properly like themselves.

Caitlyn, their wife, had been the hugest hugest help and so supportive of their choices.

Vi was deciding to go on a lower dose than normal anyways, they didn’t want to be a boy. No, they just didn’t want to fully be a girl anymore. And that was okay. It was all okay and it made them happier than they’d felt in years.

Today was finally the day, and Violet sat at the table, crying their eyes out as Caitlyn readied the supplies to administer the T shot from home. They couldn’t help it, it was just so…euphoric. Not to mention nerve-wracking, and even surreal. After all this time, it was really happening.

It was the biggest day in a long time, and they couldn’t wait.
