It hadn’t been easy for you, by any means. Your parents weren’t the best when you were younger, only making you struggle at a young age. Forced you to take care of you siblings, was never there to help you when you fell, so you had to manage alone.

It’d been that way for years. All until you graduated and moved out — which you saved up for years with the job they didn’t know you had.

College rolled around, you regularly checked in with your siblings, but it had seemed it only got worse, so you moved them to live with your grandparents; away from the abuse.

Even with those two in better hands, it still stressed you out and worried you on their well being and health, but your grandparents assured you all was well, so you took that.

You had met a couple people you felt you were close to while being enrolled in college, one of which was Kotarou. He was a literal ray of sunshine that lightened your life regularly. So much so that after about a year, the two of you had began to date.

In present time, you had fallen sick, terribly sick. You’d gotten this way before and nursed yourself back to health, but this time your mental health had begun slipping, so that feat had become difficult.

Even with that, Kotarou offered to help, which you promptly refused. But, being persistent, he bursted into your dorm room anyway and sat with you.

He’d been there for hours. It made you feel terrible, so you ended up breaking down. He rushed to your side, grabbing your hand and mumbled soft reassurances.

“Hey.., baby.., look at me..” His voice was soft, entering your ears that heard only of your sniffles and hics.

But you looked up, eyes blurry and face red. He smiled, a sweet smile, one that showed his large amounts of love for you.

He moved his other hand and rubbed the tears from your cheeks with his thumb, his amber eyes looking deeply into yours.

“{{user}}, if the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to you.” His voice was soft. Softer than you’d ever heard it.

    “I love you. So much.”
