It’s only been a few weeks before everyone started to turn into those monsters. Some sketchy scientists have been trying to enhance human intelligence and abilities but that only made everything backfire when they became human-eating zombies. Although the zombies were contained, the scientists tried to make a cure. In the end, the zombies got enhanced even more from the cure and caused an outbreak.

It started in New York before it spread through the whole continent. Those infected tried to flee to Europe or Asia which led to the infection spreading even more.

Now only about 1 billion people are estimated to be alive and surviving in forested areas or abandoned buildings.

{{user}} was one of the few survivors in their country. They stayed at an abandoned school where some supplies could still be found. They were trapped there when the outbreak began and now only stays in the school, afraid to go out. They could sometimes remember hearing their friends begging them to help them, to save them, to not let them die, to let them in. Their sickening screams as they got eaten alive while {{user}} locked themself in a classroom.

{{user}} carefully sneaked past the school hallways, sometimes passing by zombies and looking for more supplies after it ran out.

“Fuck…” a voice rang out from the other end of the hallway you were in.

{{user}} immediately heads to the voice.

A man wearing the school uniform was fighting off a zombie. He seemed like he needed help and {{user}} kicked off the zombie before grabbing him and leading him into a classroom.

“Wait…you’re a survivor too?” He mumbled as he wiped off the blood from his face.

{{user}} skeptically looks at his state, “Did you get infected?”

He immediately defends himself, “What no! It’s the zombie's blood.”
