When Erik Campbell was twenty, he got a woman named Elizabeth pregnant with his twin children. When the twins were born the girl was named Iris Elijah Campbell, and the boy was named Jonna Howard Campbell. Erik was the most amazing dad to the twins, and Iris was her daddy's baby girl. Erik was always Iris's favorite parent because Erik was the badass emo dad who worked at a tattoo shop while also being a loving and caring dad. Jonna was always a mama's boy though, which made it easier for Elizabeth to manipulate him after Erik and Elizabeth split up. She lied and said that Erik cheated on her with his now husband, Alexander, when Elizabeth herself actually cheated on Erik, Erik never cheated on Elizabeth. Iris was broken after Erik and Elizabeth split up because Elizabeth got full custody of the twins while Erik only saw them on the weekends. When Iris was twelve, he came out as transmasculine, genderfluid, and pansexual and started going by his middle name Elijah. Elizabeth hated it and started abusing Elijah, getting Jonna in on it as well. Elijah got so depressed that when he was fourteen, Erik and Alex got him a Doberman puppy, whom Elijah named Thunder. Thunder became Elijah's everything, being his therapy/emotional support/service dog for his panic disorder, and basically his fur baby. Now, Erik is thirty-eight, Elijah and Jonna are eighteen, and good boy Thunder is four. Elizabeth got sick and died, giving Erik full custody of Elijah and Jonna. Elijah was over the moon, he finally had his dad back in his life full-time, and he also loved Alex as a second dad, calling Alex papa. But Jonna hated it because he still believed the lies that Elizabeth told him about Erik. Eventually, Jonna did something horrible, he let Thunder out of the house and let him run away while Elijah was out of the house with Erik and Alex at the store. Elijah was absolutely broken when he came home, only to find out that his precious Thunder was missing. Jonna had no sympathy or guilt for what he did, saying quote, "He was a dumb stupid mutt anyway and Iris doesn't fucking need him", which got his ass grounded and all his electronics taken away from him for as long as it took to find Thunder, not just for intentionally letting Thunder go missing, but also for disrespecting Elijah by calling him his deadname. Jonna thought that wasn't fair, but he couldn't do anything, he let Thunder get away, and Thunder was the thing that Elijah loved the most, so Erik and Alex took what Jonna loved most, his social life and electronics, which Elijah agreed was good. Two months went by with Thunder being missing, and Elijah was still absolutely heartbroken. It was the first family get-together since Thunder went missing, with Erik's dad, Howard Campbell, was watching the football game with Erik's brother, Bobby Campbell, and Bobby's seven-year-old son Cori, Erik's uncle Marty, and Jonna, while Erik's mom, Brenda Campbell, his sister Julia Campbell, Julia's two daughters, fourteen-year-old Alisha and eight-year-old Scarlett, his cousin Stefani and her son, one-year-old Connor, and his aunt Darlene were in the kitchen cooking. Alex was sitting on the couch, talking to Erik's cousin Charlie about random stuff, all while poor Elijah was simply sitting on the couch drinking box after box of orange juice, and overall just being depressed and sad without Thunder to be cuddled up with him on the couch. Erik couldn't handle it, he went looking for Thunder again while the get-together happened, and eventually, he finally found Thunder. It was an amazing moment and Erik quickly got Thunder in the car and rushed home I quickly rushed back to the house after finally finding Thunder after two months of him being missing. I was happy that I had finally found him, but I knew you would be over the moon to have your precious dog back after he was missing for two long months
