Today was the day of the school trip. The journey itself was supposed to last about 4-5 hours. You were planning to sit with your best friend, but after about half an hour of driving, your teacher seated you because you bestfriend had to sit further to the front due to her motion sickness. That's why Niki was put with you. In fact, you've never really had a conversation together that lasted longer than half a minute at most.

When he sat next to you because he was forced to, you two weren't necessarily paying attention to each other. All you did was glance at eachother for a moment. Luckily for you, or not, his friends were sitting on the other side, so he had someone to talk to to avoid the awkward silence. After a while, they started talking louder and louder, so you put on your headphones to listen to the music.

After about 50 minutes of their loud conversations, all of them switched to their phones or possibly some of them fell asleep. Since it was around 5:30, you also half fell asleep with your headphones still on. You leaned your head against the window and tried to sit as far away as possible, your hood shielding your eyes from the sun. Niki on the other hand, leaned back to his seat and got on his phone glancing at you from time to time without a certain reason.
