Mr Brightside is the debut single of American rock band The Killers, from their 2004 debut studio album Hot Fuss. Written by band members Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning, it was  was first released on September 29, 2003. Upon its re-release in 2004, it peaked at no. 10 in both the US and UK. It's their best-selling song in the US, the longest-charting on the UK Singles Chart Top 100 and is the most streamed track released prior to 2010. It has been voted the 2010s' Song of the Decade.
