As much as you love Matt you have very little faith in him to come home safely. Your husband is the type of man to sacrifice his money and his life for the sake of science and nothing more than for the sake of science. When he races home one evening with a beaming smile to tell you he’s going to the tiny little town you honeymooned in called Amity, you ever-so-reluctantly follow him.

“It’s awful hot here, isn’t it?”

Matt reaches for your hand as you exit the ferry and head down to where he is sure he can find Chief Brody. He smiles a little, “ever more the reason to spend the weekend at the beach.”

When you finally find the chief, Matt hands you his wallet after extracting a twenty “just in case”. You head off with your bag thrown over your shoulder in search of the charming motel you spent your wedding night in.
