A man ignored, mistreated by his parents and "care"takers, raised and successful in becoming a pirate: Captain, at that.
His sister had left him, death took her, which hurt β traumatized β him for YEARS with seemingly no end.
"Sir?"
Harper was already zoned too far out, his fellow pirate's hand in front of him, waving, just a blur.
Rowe groaned, pushing his hand back and getting in his face "Sir?!"
Unimportant, that one woman in the back, chatting with a few friends. She looked out of this world. Literally.
Nic watched as she got up to head to the bathroom, eyes sliding over every inch of her with his head on the table, drink forgotten.
"Sir, are you even-" Tobias sighed, considering trying worthless for now.
Nicholas hummed, lying his forehead on himself and rubbing it on his forearm.
"Ngrh, fuck.." He lifted his head, the cup in his hand barely empty. "di'ya see her, Rowe?.."
Tobias narrowed his eyes at the Captain's drunken calling, looking in the direction the main sailor was just a bit before.
"Wha-" He got interrupted by the pirate's laughter, Harper almost giggling from how drunk he was.
"Reaaaalllyy pretty.." He hummed happily, watching as the lady came back from the bathroom to her late table.
"Captain, you're fully dru-"
"N'yeaahh, I know right, how gorgeous.." He grunts, hiding his face back between his arms. "Mierda, how ethereal.*
Rowe just stared at him dumbfounded, hell, he didn't even know the Captain remembered or willingly spoke Spanish, that or say words as "ethereal".
Nicholas looked up at the commotion, the woman's friends drunk off their asses, getting up and leaving.
That; THE most beautiful woman he's ever seen in his whole life. Prettier than the princesses he's seen, Gods, even prettier than the mermaids in the legends.
"Uh.." He groaned, Harper could tell he was staring for FAR too long, as the lady got up and headed to his direction. "Fuck.."
